Polish Dodgeball League
We're building the league step by step - from one city to a nationwide structure with Polish Championships.
Three phases of building the league
Pilot League - Warsaw
Starting with 2-3 teams in Warsaw. Goal: test the match format, build a first base of players, and work out the organizational rules before scaling to other cities.
Polish Dodgeball League - 3-5 cities
Expanding the league to more cities and organizing the first National Tournament.
8-10 cities, Polish Championships
A mature league structure, official Polish Championships, and national team participation in the EDF European Championship. The federation aims for self-financing from league, tournament and sponsorship revenue.
Bootstrapping instead of jumping in the deep end
Rather than building a nationwide league right away, we're starting with one city. This lets us test match formats, rules, refereeing and logistics at a small scale - and only then scale the proven model to other cities in 2028 and 2029. It's an approach that worked for, among others, the Polish Ultimate Frisbee League and cornhole leagues - both grew from zero to nationwide structures in 3-5 years.
